The Best Is Yet To Come
I have news for you!
The best is YET to come! Isn't that exciting? You may either think, "Life is pretty great I can't imagine it getting better" or "Life sucks right now and it has for a while, I can't see how it will get better."
Well, it can and IT WILL!
How do I know? I know because I know God and I know His promises. The Bible says...
"I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us." Romans 8:18
Right here God is saying the best is yet to come.
In Isaiah 58:11 it states
"And the LORD will guide you continually and satisfy your desire in scorched places and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters do not fail."
I love this verse because it reminds me God loves us. He will make a way when we feel there is no way. He will give us strength to move through the impossible. Our waters will never fail. Our nourishment from the Holy Spirit will never cease.
This is God's plan and will for us. He will take care of us and provide all we need to live joyful and abundant lives.
How do we know God will live up to what He says?
God's character is strongly emphasized in 2 Timothy 2:13 where it states,
"if we are faithless, he remains faithful, for he cannot disown himself."
This verse defines God's character: his continual faithfulness to care and provide for us even we are not faithful to Him.
We can rest on this verse knowing everything God say's about our lives and our future will come true. He is ever faithful.
No matter what you are experiencing now, it will get better because that God's plan for you and He is faithful to His promises.
What you are enduring right now is incomparable to the glory that will be in the future. The best is truly yet to come.
