We Are Called To Love Ourselves

God wants us to love ourselves. Because loving ourselves is how we open our hearts to receiving God's peace and living a life in His glory. Everything that makes you you is purposeful and intentional. Your qualities is what will make this world better and is what God has given you to carry out His will. BUT we are also called to live in humility. We are called to accept ourselves but also love our neighbors as ourselves.

It is a beautiful reminder to tell yourself that you, despite what you have achieved, are not better than anyone. We are all the same in God's eyes. Treat everyone how you would want to be treated. It can be hard, and yes, it's supposed to be hard, because it reminds us we need God to guide our hearts and minds. We need him. So love who you are, every part of yourself, because that is how you will make this world a better place. That energy you create when you love yourself and everyone around you, is unconquerable and will be your greatest contribution.

Proverbs 19:8 To acquire wisdom is to love oneself; people who cherish understanding will prosper.

Philippians 2:3 Do nothing out of rivalry or conceit, but in humility consider others as more important than yourselves.
